Home Contents Devotion 150 Anniversary Prayer

Prayer is personal. Other people can pray for you, but nobody can pray in your place. Only you can express what is in your heart. Other people may inspire you, strengthen you, encourage you. But only you can open your heart to God. Only you can express your own prayer.

What is offered here are not prayers that you should read, or listen to. You can find that anywhere. On tapes, in books, in magazines, in lectures and conferences, etc. If all you do is read the prayer, you might as well go on to something else, and read that. What we offer here are some prayer starters, some first steps to get you going. Use them to get your motor running, and then continue traveling.

 Prayer for Inner peace
 Prayer for Patience
 Prayer for Inspiration
 Prayer for Dieters
 Pray of Self-Surrender
