Debra Diehl
is President of Amethyst Consulting Group,
a Northern Virginia technical consulting firm specializing in
leading edge technologies.
Debbie has
over 20 years experience in the computer technology field. She began
her career while an Air Force officer, serving as an Intelligence
Analyst with the NSA. While there, she attended the NSA's
National
Cryptologic School and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer
Science at Johns Hopkins University.
She has had
various positions within the industry, including UNIX systems
administration and programming, with an emphasis on hardening the
security features of the UNIX source code to meet NSA requirements.
She was an adjunct professor at the University of Denver.
Debbie began
working with Microsoft systems in 1993, with the release of the
Windows NT operating system. She has consulted and worked with
clients as varied as the U.S. Marshall's Service, FBI, Justice
Department, IRS, VA and Air Force, FDIC, EDS, Dell, Freddie Mac,
Unisys and many others.
In addition
to security issues, she has experience in the areas of database
design and data modeling, operating systems, systems and messaging
design, integration and deployment, and project management. |
