St. Mary is the Mother Church of the Catholic Faith in central Connecticut, with a rich tradition of over 150 years. Today our parish reflects the many different faces of a diversified community. We are also the spiritual home for urban minorities, particularly the Hispanic Catholics of New Britain.

Our Baptism calls us to be Christ's disciples and proclaim His Gospel of Life. Strengthened by the Eucharist, we reach out to all in need, especially the elderly, the youth of today, and the poor.

Since God has give us all we have and are, we place our time, talent, and treasure at His Service. We accept the challenge to work for peace and justice at home and throughout the world, and to be responsible stewards of our global environment.

It is our goal to build up a parish family of faith, hope, and love, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
